I think that he has had a bad childhood because he grew up in the Bronx and the Bronx is a big apartment complex that has been run down by gangs, guns and drugs.

HVNLY is a uplifting song because it is talking about what it is like to grow up in a bad area “born in Bronx raised in Bronx” and that if you grow up in a bad area doesn’t mean that you have to be apart of the baddness your self.

The book that i read was called The Hunger and the hunger games is a book about a girl called Katniss Everdeen that is forced to enter into the hunger games to save her little sister life.

The hunger games is a big battle to the death throughout all 12 districts they do the hunger games to show show that the capitol runs everything and if you do something wrong there will be a serious punishment for t whoever the person was that did the crime.

katniss Everdeen went into the hunger games with a boy called Peeta Malark and what Katniss didn’t know was that Peeta Malark had a bit of a crush on Katniss and he went on national TV and told to the hole world and after that everyone knew that Peeta had a crush on Katniss everyone knew this because everyone is forced to watch the game and the build up to the games.

Later on in the games they put in a knew rule they say that if there are two people from the same district they can both win it there is only meant to one winner so after that news Katnis set out to go and find Peeta.

In the end  Katniss find Peeta and thet are both about to win the games because Katniss has just killed the last contender when the game maker says to them that there can only be one winner after Peeta and Katniss realize this they both draw out some poison berry’s and go to eat them when the game maker shouts out to them stop i now present the winners of the 74th annual hunger game Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Malark.

That is my book summery on the hunger games.

LO: How can we tell a story is a Junot Díaz story.

I think the themes that Junot Díaz wants to use in his story’s are friendship and also a bit of struggle.

We know that it is Junot Díaz by the way he    was talking about going around and causing lots of distruction “pissing on people’s door steps and then challenging them to come out and stop us”.
